Tilapia with Almond and Rosemary Butter Sauce

Golden tilapia fillets with a buttery flaked almond and rosemary sauce, made in a stainless steel frying pan for a simple lunch or dinner.

Golden tilapia fillets meet a buttery sauce of flaked almonds and rosemary in this recipe from Tramontina Brazil. It is a simple way to bring a little occasion to lunch or dinner, with the sauce made in the same frying pan as the fish.

A Grano stainless steel frying pan is at the heart of the original recipe. Have your serving plates ready so you can bring the fish straight to the table with its warm almond sauce. Find the ingredients and method below.

Cooking with Grano stainless steel cookware

Grano brings more than a polished finish to the kitchen. Its Tecnoheat tri-ply construction combines stainless steel, aluminium and stainless steel throughout the entire body, not just the base. This helps distribute heat evenly for efficient cooking, so high heat is unnecessary. Suitable for all hob types, including gas and induction, Grano is a versatile choice for this fish dish and many other recipes.

The range also includes Grano sauté pans with lids for recipes that call for covered cooking and moisture retention. The 30cm Grano frying pan featured here is supplied without a lid; this tilapia recipe uses an open pan.

After cooking, wash your Grano pan with water, washing-up liquid and a soft sponge, or put it in the dishwasher. Rinse with hot water after washing and dry straight away to help maintain its shine. With the fish and almond sauce ready, gather everyone around the table and enjoy.
