Before first use, wash all pieces in warm, soapy water and dry thoroughly. As these are enamelled, no seasoning is required.
Hand washing only. Let the cookware cool down gradually before washing with a soft sponge and mild soap, never use abrasive products. If food is sticking to the pan, simply fill with warm water and soak for a few minutes for easy removal, but avoid submerging the entire pan. Always dry thoroughly immediately after washing to protect the rim.
Always use silicone, nylon, or wooden utensils, as metal tools will damage the enamel finish.
As cast iron retains heat exceptionally well, we recommend cooking on low-to-medium heat (never over 230°C). Reserve high heat primarily for boiling water or initial searing. Always add a small amount of your preferred cooking oil before heating. Add the food only when the pan and oil are hot; avoid moving it too soon, as seared food will release naturally once a golden crust has formed. Match the pan base to your hob size for best results and to protect the enamel and handles from direct heat exposure.
Always use heat-resistant oven mitts to safely handle the pan, as handles might retain heat for a long time. Lift the pan across hob surfaces (especially induction/glass) rather than sliding it to avoid scratching. Avoid dropping or hitting your pan against hard surfaces, as this can cause the enamel to chip.
