Warranty Policy
1. Introduction
Thank you for purchasing from Tramontina United Kingdom Limited (Tramontina UK). We are committed to providing high-quality products, backed by a robust statutory guarantee under UK consumer law.
This warranty applies to tangible goods purchased from Tramontina UK via our online store www.tramontina.co.uk.
2. Statutory Guarantee Under UK Consumer Law
In addition to any commercial warranty we offer, all products sold by Tramontina UK are covered by a statutory guarantee under UK consumer law.
If a defect arises within 30 days of receipt, you are entitled to a refund.
If a defect arises within six months, we must prove the product was not faulty at the time of sale.
3. Commercial Warranty
In addition to your statutory rights, Tramontina UK provides a 90-day limited commercial warranty covering manufacturing defects under normal domestic use.
3.1. Warranty Coverage
This warranty applies to defects in workmanship and materials under normal household use and includes the following remedies:
-
Replacement: If the product is found to be defective within the warranty period, we will provide a new product of the same model or an equivalent substitute.
-
Refund or Price Reduction: If a replacement is not available, we will issue a full or partial refund (proportional price reduction), depending on the circumstances and in accordance with UK consumer law via the original payment method.
-
Certain products may be subject to distinct warranty period. For full details of the guarantee period per product range, enter the product page and search for "Product Description” and “Warranty".
3.2. Warranty Exclusions
This warranty does not cover:
-
Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or commercial use.
-
Normal wear and tear that does not affect functionality (e.g., minor scratches, stains, or slight discolouration due to heat exposure).
-
Damage caused by overheating, improper maintenance, or use not in accordance with product instructions.
-
Consumable parts such as coatings, seals, and gaskets, unless failure is due to a manufacturing defect.
-
Consequential damage or indirect damages, except where such limitation would be unlawful under UK consumer law.
-
In the ordinary course of use, a slight yellowing of the surface can occasionally happen after heating. This is completely harmless and does not affect the performance of the pan and is therefore excluded from the warranty.
-
Any condition, malfunctions or damage not resulting from defects in material or workmanship.
